Today Chris Harris tweeted that he is going to close is Patreon (not Patroen, Chris.....) account. Closing that account means his followers won’t be able to give money to Chris Harris, who used it for financing his videos. Likely, this means that he will not make any new videos for his YouTube channel.
Also, saying “Without your support I wouldn’t have made any films” sounds to me as if he is going to do something new. That must be Top Gear then?

Maybe it also means that the YT-channel is finally making enough money that he doesn’t need the extra support anymore.

Man, I really hope the new Top Gear is just an out and out car show. I was really burned out on the old format to the point that I started watching Fifth Gear. Never thought that would happen but I could only watch so much scripted bollocks.

One of the things I find terribly funny about all the “I won’t be watching” stuff is that apparently a lot of people don’t really want to watch a show about cars. They want to watch a comedy show about people being daft around cars. Not that there’s anything wrong with that (I quite enjoy that show) but apparently there’s no room for any other car themed-shows in their lives.
Which is weird, because I sure can find the time to watch a couple of different programs.

I hope not. The show needs stability from the get go so people can get used to the new hosts. The British media are using any excuse they can to attack Chris, David and Sabine so they need all the time they can get to win over the public.
